New Neighbor

We train due diligence, however nonetheless we discover we will’t
keep away from the proclamations and the each day rant
that we’ve needed to put up with, these days, ever since

our new caustic neighbor began peering o’er the fence,
elevating his head above it by standing on a stump
to unfold the raving tirade that he likes to dump

on anyone current who’s so unlucky
as to go to our again yard and encounter this nut.

Each time I am going outdoors, I need to soak up  his spewing.
He appears to have some radar that tracks all that we’re doing,
so once I take the rubbish out, he’s at all times on the market, too,
spreading verbal rubbish that he’s amassed anew.

I suppose there’s just one solution to get out of this groove.
It could appear extreme, however I believe we’ll have to maneuver.
We’ll discover a model new home that has a tall again wall
and rebuff any neighbors who ought to attempt to name.
We’ll be the type of neighbors that nobody appears to know,
however we’ll have blessed privateness after we exit to mow !

Immediate phrases right now are stump, anyone, caustic, diligent and soak up. Picture by Waldemar Brandt on Unsplash.
